Once you hear M.I.K.E's music, you'll understand why the Brooklyn born Michael St. Fleur doesn’t' need a catchy nickname to draw attention to himself. He's simply, M.I.K.E. Not only does he rap, but he mixes styles from his English and Caribbean roots. Like others, he has learned from the pioneers of hip hop yet adds a unique blend of fun and character to today's music. He doesn't proclaim to be the best -He just brings you the music that stirs deep within his soul. M.I.K.E got his first taste of rap at the age of 12, when he came upon his older brother listening to Jay-Z's classic Reasonable Doubt album. It was at this moment, that M.I.K.E became aware of his passion, and his thirst for knowledge about the rap game became more than just urge, it became a certainty. M.I.K.E believes "being well cultured as a student of music, will add to your diversity and creativity".
It wasn't long before he caught the eye of Executive Producer Julian Booth of Slip and Slide records who recognized M.I.K.E's talent instantly. Unfortunately, this dream was short lived as M.I.K.E was soon forced to leave Miami and return to the streets of New York. True to his undying passion for music, it wasn’t long before M.I.K.E continued his journey toward success learning very valuable lessons along the way. M.I.K.E's fan base began to grow as a result of touring the underground circuit. Simultaneously his online presence has grown immensely as well. He has averaged over 2,000 profile views daily on Myspace.com and has debuted at # 1 on the Myspace N.J. charts for over 4 consecutive months.M.i.k.e has received nearly 1 million hits on his myspace page and within the past week 160,000 hits/downloads on his single "Winner" alone. He was also recognized as NJ's top independent artist for several months before the myspace crash. |

Most recently, M.i.k.e's music has been played on Philly's own 100.3 the beat by DJ Touchtone, Detroits 102.7, and Tampa's own Clark Shepard and LA's own D.O.C.

Recently, M.I.K.E has teamed up with various Grammy Award Winning producers and recording enginners to help complete his awaited album. Some of the producers he is working with inclues, the Dream Team, Eric Kennedy of Braat Music Group, as well as Conrad Golding, who has been the engineer for many of today's talents, working on tracks with the likes of Mario, Britney, Mariah, Janet, Young Jeezy, just to name a few. It is almost certainty with producers such as this behind M.I.K.E’s music, success is definite. In conjunction with his increasingly growing online presence, and street credibility, M.I.K.E has also gained the support of The Source Magazine and can be found within the pages of the magazine for the month of July. It was through The Source Magazine that M.I.K.E got the unique opportunity to meet with The Legendary LL Cool J who immediately took a liking to his humble, yet confident swagger and captivating music. M.i.k.e has had the opportunity to open in concerts for artists such as LL Cool J, Omarion, Rick Ross, T.I., Soulja Boy, Neyo, and Day 26, Mike Jones, Plies and Akon. Listeners often get that same feeling when they hear tracks such as "Winner" or "Better" which are some of M.I.K.E's latest songs to date. M.I.K.E has also gained the support of Founder of the Hip Hop Summit, Dr. Benjamin Chavis who is acting as M.I.K.E's life coach and mentor . M.I.K.E is also being guided by MC Serch of Third Base and VH1's Miss Rap Supreme and Jeff Horrowitz of Serchlite Music who is helping to walk M.i.k.e's music career to triumph.We are also in the process of branding M.I.K.E. We are working diligently with Marc Versace to create a clothing line as well as working with various other entities to create a cosmetic line and body spray that will be given out directly through Michael's website. In essence, M.I.K.E is ready to make his contribution to the music industry and get people excited about buying music again.
